Last to know
My buddy Chris tells me this is a tricky song to play, something about the first stroke (is it up, rather than down, or down, rather than up...), anyways it's one of Neil Finn's finest; last to know and my little girl likes it too!

That's right. Get the wrong stroke on the initial D and your whole rhythm can get a little disturbed. It happens to the best of them. If you check out Neil's performance on 7 Worlds Collide DVD you will see it happens to Neil! The song itself is not that difficult to play otherwise. It's just the initial strike that makes it a little tricky. Oh, and there's some hammer-ons you need to use your pinky for and some people might not have the finger strength to play these cleanly. But for most advanced guitarists it's not that big an issue.
The link to youtube is the gig where he gets it wrong. Only wished I'd perservered with guitar...
