Something must be missing in the translation...'cos how's saying "die" in a word association homophobic? He didn't mean it, he said so immediately ("that's not what I meant"). It was all very silly and a bit puerile, but is this guy really getting a pasting for saying "die" in word association?
My reading of the "transcript" was that he did associate homosexuality with "die". In my view that's a pretty stupid thing to say and not unreasonably described as homophobic. He did then kind of take it back, but you can't simply say something and then say, oh I didn't mean that, and expect it to be forgotten.
I suffer from a lack of sleep and an aversion zealots and cynics... My name is Paul Williams, if you know me then you know this, and if you don't, I suspect it doesn't matter.
