Most NZ parties rort the electoral funding system and abuse parliamentary funding. Of course, the big news here (NZ) was that the NZ Labour Party had elevated these rorts into a high art - which unlike various dubious artworks gifted to charities - do not apparently have the fingerprints of the elected PM. Now, whether they have the fingerprints of the other PM, you know, the unelected one....ooops...getting controversial. The Tories made much of Labour's abuses. And so they should. The Tories were happy to make hay - knowing their funding base was being made anonymously through shadowy deals with dodgy outfits and even dodgier business interests.
By the way, you can just make out some dead ducks in the far distance - choking on the eutrophying weed mat. I mention this for no particular reason.
You've been rather quiet lately. I like the new photo on the sidebar.
Waikorupupu Springs...
Crasster, your memory of such events is pleasantly enduring as is mine.
